SESAR Deployment Manager (SDM) celebrated its 10th anniversary at the Event Lounge. A milestone day, where the impact of this initiative on transforming European aviation was highlighted.

Since 2014, the SDM has overseen the coordination of more than 300 modernization projects across 35 countries, with €3.1 billion in European investment funding. The event showcased these achievements and explored future initiatives to make European aviation more efficient, sustainable, and connected. Discussions focused on collaboration between various industry stakeholders, technological innovation, and sustainability.

Participants attended conferences and panels that addressed progress made, as well as new solutions and technologies to tackle future challenges. Emphasis was placed on the importance of partnerships and collective commitment to keep European aviation at the forefront of innovation and enhance the sector’s global competitiveness.
