On April 3, 2025, our iconic Event Lounge was transformed into the setting for Eventonline’s gala dinner, MICETROS. Eventonline celebrated its 20th anniversary, and as a loyal partner from the very beginning, of course Event Lounge could not be missing. That had to be celebrated!

Olivier Wauters, managing director, and Erik Wood, CEO of Eventonline, had really pulled out all the stops for the occasion. Their ambition? To create an evening that would leave a lasting impression on all guests. The bar was therefore exceptionally high. The dress code? Gala!

Upon entering, guests were welcomed with Champagne Taittinger or a refined St-Germain cocktail. The Event Lounge was decorated as a warm, inviting “living room,” completely according to Erik Wood’s idea: a reception like his own home, provided in collaboration with Options, and exclusively with the best quality.

To make this evening the event of the year, top partners were brought in: Event Lounge as the venue, J&M Catering for the culinary part, and none other than Wout Bru who, together with J&M, provided the main course – good for a star-worthy experience for almost 500 VIPs from the MICE sector.

The evening exuded pure class and spectacle. Olivier Wauters made no ordinary entrance: in true Tom Cruise style, he descended into the room via a cable from a height of 12 meters – PRG made it happen.

Erik and Olivier wanted to tell a story about dreams and making dreams come true. They succeeded with verve: famous Flemings and the dancers of Studio Dansemble brought the concept to life in one compelling musical. It was an evening to cherish.

Moreover, three awards were presented: for Digital Content, Achievement and the (Wo)Man in Black Award – a tribute to the driving forces within our wonderful sector.

The Event Lounge management was impressed by the flawless organization, which was led by Sophie Naze of Konsepts.
